FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) — American Airlines has announced Thursday that an additional daily flight will be coming in and out of the Florence Regional Airport starting August 7.
The additional flight will allow airline travelers to have better connection time to Charlotte’s airport coupled with the convenience and cost effectiveness of using the Florence airport, according to a release by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.
The flights will be in the early morning, midday, and evening through Florence, which allows shorter layover times and provides more flexible connect options, the release said.
“American Airlines using Florence Regional Airport delivers superb on-time performance along with the ease of close-in parking and faster passenger check-in for your flight to Charlotte and then on to nearly any market in the world.”
