MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Many Grand Strand communities are planning fireworks and a variety of events to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday.
Here’s a list of some of those activities.
CONWAY
- June 29 — Riverfest, 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., Riverfront Park and Marina Drive; features live music, food, local vendors, kids activities, an Expo, an artisans market, a golf cart parade and more
- June 29 — Fireworks, 9:30 p.m., Riverfront Park and Marina Drive
LAURINBURG
- July 4 — Fireworks at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the lot north of the baseball field along Railroad Street.
MURRELLS INLET
- July 4 — 41st annual boat parade, 5:30 p.m.; the parade will start at Garden City Point, then head to the MarshWalk and move south along the shoreline.
- July 4 — Fireworks, 10 p.m., at the MarshWalk, Highway 17 Business
MYRTLE BEACH
- July 2 — Fireworks, 10 p.m., Broadway at the Beach, 1325 Celebrity Circle
- July 3 — Fireworks after the game at Pelicans Ballpark 1251 21st Ave. N.
- July 4 — Fireworks, 10 p.m., Broadway at the Beach, 1325 Celebrity Circle
- July 4 — Fireworks, 9 p.m., 2nd Avenue pier, 110 S. Ocean Blvd.
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH
- June 29-30 — All City Choir cantata presents One Nation Under God at 3:30 p.m. at the Living Water Baptist Church, 1569 Highway 9 E., Longs; pick up free tickets at North Myrtle Beach City Hall or the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center
- July 4 — Salture to America March and 15th annual Salute from the Shore Flyover; 1 p.m. ceremony and at the Horseshoe on Main Street; the military flyover will stretch the entire length of the South Carolina coast from Cherry Grove to Beaufort and feature a C-17 from the Charleston Air Force Base, F16s from the McEntire Joint National Guard Base, and a privately owned vintage aircraft.
- July 4 — Music on Main, featuring The Entertainers, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Horseshoe on Main Street, 11 South Ocean Boulevard; the event is free
- July 4 — Fireworks, 9:30 p.m., Cherry Grove pier
- July 4 — Fireworks, 10 p.m., Barefoot Landing, 4898 Highway 17 S.
SURFSIDE BEACH
- July 4 — 4th of July celebration, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Memorial Park at Surfside Drive and N. Willow Drive
- July 4 — Golf cart parade, 11 a.m., along Ocean Boulevard.
