Meet Jalapeño

This is Jalapeño he is a one year old black and white hound mix. He is a big goof ball! He loves to run around the yards and go on long walks. He gets a long great with all dogs and people. He has joined us for many adoption events and has had so much fun at all of them, but has not found his forever home yet.  He has been in the shelter for a few months and since he has been with us he has gone through eye removal surgery. He had a mass in his eye that would have caused him pain down the line so we got it removed while it still had little effect on him. He can still see just fine and now looks like he is always winking at you. He has been fixed, UTD on shots, on flea and tick preventative, and HW preventative. To learn more about Jalapeño and how to adopt him you can go to, Facebook: Kind Keeper Animal Rescue, or call 843-427-4388

Meet Mr. Walton

“Do you remember me, Mr.Walton? Well I’m still looking for my forever family! I love to be with my friends here at All4Paws but would really like to find a family who can give me belly rubs, lots of butt scratches, and a life I’ve only DREAMED of! If you think you’re the one, come visit me at A4P!”

How can anyone resist a face like Walton’s? This handsome guy has enjoyed time in our back offices and adventures around town for our Dog’s Day Out Program. His next adventure? ADOPTION! Walton enjoys easy going dog friends who are ready to chill out and enjoy the finer things in life but won’t turn down a walk around the block. Walton may be older but he’s still young at heart!

Meet Joey

Joey is our current long-stay resident at All4Paws Animal Rescue. For nearly a year this playful guy has been trying to find his forever home with your help maybe he’ll find his adoptive home sooner rather than later!

This long-legged fellow came to us from the local animal care center where he was picked up as a stray. Before then we can only imagine that he spent his days gallivanting through the woods of Horry County. Once he got to us that is exactly what he liked to do here too. He would parade himself throughout campus with the cutest of grins and ears that would flop incessantly as he ran with his human friends.

Unfortunately, as time went on this joyous boy began to deteriorate emotionally. His human friends couldn’t keep a smile on his face and his usual adventures off campus became fewer and far between. It’s as if Joey knew that the longer he stayed with us the less likely he’d find his forever family! That has now propelled him and his human friends to work out his sadness and shake off the blues. With more time dedicated to this guy playing with his friends in our playgroup to additional attention from staff, we’re hoping that he’ll cheer back up. We know his forever is out there, is that you? You can help him by sharing his story with your friends and visiting our facility to say hi to the one and only silly boy, Joey! When you adopt Joey, you get a $25 gift card and gift basket valued at $50 from Pet Supplies Plus of Murrells Inlet.

About Kind Keeper Animal Rescue: Kind Keeper Animal Rescue was founded in 2014 as a small, private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization by Belinda Mairowicz. Kind Keeper’s mission is to actively rescue dogs and cats that are homeless, at high risk for euthanasia due to shelter over population, and often suffering from medical problems.  This includes a high population of newborns, pregnant animals, as well as senior animals.  We provide veterinary care, proper nutrition, training, exercise and prepare animals for adoption into the community. We are actively raising funds to build anew state of the art facility on recently purchased land in Longs SC, to rescue and re home many more animals in need in our community.

About All4Paws:  All4Paws is a no-kill, compassionate, community based animal rescue in Pawleys Island, SC. We place a little over 1000 animals into homes every year. We also have many community programs such as a pet food pantry, low cost spay neuter services, and a reading program called Tales for Tails. All4Paws is always in need of good volunteers, fosters, and adopters. You can find out more through our website,, or by popping in for a visit!
